Ingredients (makes 30 ml)

1 tsp organic turmeric powder

6 whole cloves, lightly crushed

3 tbsp cold-pressed sesame oil

5 drops vitamin E oil

½ tsp freshly grated lime zest for extra antioxidants
Procedure

Warm sesame oil in a double boiler to a gentle 50 °C.

Add turmeric, cloves and lime zest; stir for 3 minutes.

Remove from heat, cover and infuse for 24 hours.

Strain through muslin into a dark glass dropper bottle; add vitamin E.

Massage 3–4 drops over dark-spot areas nightly for at least four weeks; follow with a simple glycerin toner.

½ tsp rosehip seed oil (natural pro-retinoid)

4 drops lavender essential oil (soothing, antimicrobial)
